Those That Roam In The Shadows is a 2D fast-paced typing game for PC. You play as Dave, a father who's passed onto the ghostly realm. Problem is Dave's son is being haunted by nightmarish spirits stopping him from living his normal life. But you have the power to fight back.

You must protect your son these spirits, using your ghostly powers to expel the ghosts and protect people until dawn. Activate these powers by typing chants with your keyboard. If you want to protect your son, Don't stop typing!

 

                           

Typing

The core mechanic of the game is typing incantations to exorcise malevolent spirits. Move room to room as spirits attempt to block your path and haunt innocent sleepers. 

Waves of Foes   

Just when you think you've won, another fresh wave of enemies appears. Do not falter, as the more spirits you expel, the more incantations you learn, and the stronger you get. Speaking of incantations...

Special incantations

Along with the normal chants you type to expel spirits, powerful incantations will aid you in your quest to stop the spirits.  These incantations can freeze enemies in their tracks or out-right exorcise them in the spot.

Powerful Forces at Play

While on your journey, battle against the powerful creatures that are pulling the strings behind your son's nightmares. Dispelling these creatures will require quick thinking and ingenuity.

Arrow Keys: Used to move.

Keyboard: Used to type incantations.

Enter: Used to chant the incantations you have typed.
